Our Troop was founded in 1938 and is sponsored by Conron Camp Foundation. Since the troop was chartered, 163 scouts have earned the rank of Eagle. We offer a year-round scouting program that develops self-confidence, leadership, citizenship, and fitness for boys ages 10-17.

Troop meetings are held every Friday evening at 7:30 PM at Herald Gospel Plaza in Flushing, NY. Meetings include skill instruction, patrol activities, leadership development, advancement work, and planning for upcoming outings.

Scouts experience the outdoors, learn essential camping and cooking skills, work together as a team, and grow in confidence while developing an appreciation for nature and their place in the world.

Such as Spring Camporee, Skills Rally, Chinese New Year Parade, Park cleanups, and other community service projects, building skills, leadership, teamwork, and civic responsibility.

Scouts learn to cook, clean, and become self-sufficient while preparing their own meals, earning merit badges, building leadership skills, and making friends — all under the guidance of our Commissary Staff and Troop Leadership.

Scouts partners with neighborhoods, volunteer organizations, and faith-based organizations to help young people recognize community needs and take action through meaningful service.
All Troop Committee Members and Adult Leaders maintain current Youth Protection Training and are committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for every Scout.

With more than 130 merit badges—from Archery and Art to Welding and Wilderness Survival—Scouting offers a hands-on program that builds character, confidence, and life skills. Scouts explore interests, develop leadership and teamwork, and work toward Scouting’s highest rank, Eagle, preparing them for school and life.

Merit badges are one of the coolest parts of Scouting — Scouts get to try new things, discover their interests, and learn real-world skills while having fun. With so many badges available, there’s truly something for everyone.
Below are key forms, guides, and resources to help Scouts and families understand and navigate the Trail to Eagle process.
The Eagle Scout rank is the highest achievement attainable in the Scouts BSA program of the Scouting America. Since its inception in 1911, only about four percent of Scouts have earned this prestigious rank through a rigorous and meaningful process. More than 2.5 million youth have achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. To qualify, a Scout must earn at least 22 merit badges, demonstrate Scout Spirit by living the Scout Oath and Law, provide leadership to others, and complete a significant service project that benefits the community. Effective July 1, 2022, all Eagle Scout candidates must also complete the Citizenship in Society merit badge as part of the requirements.
